A Stronger Marriage Starts With One Honest Conversation

Faith-based marriage coaching for Christian couples across the greater Phoenix area. Whether you are drifting, stuck in the same argument, or just want to get ahead of it, there is a path forward.

A real conversation. No pressure, no commitment.

You Are Not Alone

Most Couples Who Reach Out Waited Longer Than They Should Have

Not because they stopped caring. Because they kept believing it would get better on its own. The conversations got shorter. The distance grew quietly. At some point the silence became the new normal.

I have been there in my own marriage. My wife jokes that I should have been an attorney, because for years I fought to be right. I would win the argument and lose the connection every time. The shift was not a better comeback. It was realizing Sarah-Gayle and I were on the same team.

That is the work we do at Hope Relentless. We help Christian couples move from tension to teamwork. From me versus you, to us versus the problem. There is always, always hope.

What We Help You Build

Communication, Connection, and a Marriage That Lasts

Communicate Without the Fight

Learn to have the hard but important conversations without them turning hurtful. Communication is about connection, not winning.

Turn Conflict Into Teamwork

Conflict is not the problem. How you handle it is. We help you stop running the same argument on a loop and start solving it together.

Rebuild Real Connection

Reach for each other again. We help you close the distance and build intimacy and trust on a foundation that holds.

Who You Work With

Faith-Based, Skilled, and in Your Corner

Sarah-Gayle Galbreath holds a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University and has over 15 years of experience walking with couples in clinical and ministry settings. Chad Galbreath is an ordained minister who brings decades of pastoral leadership and co-leads our couples programs and workshops.

Our approach blends professional, evidence-informed coaching frameworks with a Christian foundation. For couples who want faith woven all the way through the work, it is there. For couples who want skilled, values-aligned support without the religious framing, that works too.

We serve couples across the greater Phoenix area, from our offices in the East Valley to anywhere in Arizona by Zoom.

What We Work On Together

The Areas That Make or Break a Marriage

Effective Communication

Most couples who come to us are not fighting constantly. They have stopped talking. We name the specific patterns keeping you stuck and give you tools that hold up under real pressure, not just on a calm day.

Conflict Resolution

We help you stop the same disagreement from cycling and start turning it into a decision. You can win the argument and lose the connection. We aim for both of you winning.

Emotional Intimacy

Distance builds slowly. We help you find what created the gap and rebuild closeness in a way that is specific to the two of you.

Physical Intimacy

One of the most avoided topics and one of the most important. We create a safe space to talk honestly about disconnection, differing expectations, and past hurt.

Expectations and Unity

Unspoken expectations build resentment fast. Parenting, family, careers, faith, money. We help you talk it through before it becomes an ongoing conflict.

Faith and Marriage

For many couples, faith is the foundation, not an add-on. We take that seriously and fully integrate a biblical model of marriage for couples who want it. It is how Sarah-Gayle and I actually live.

What Changes

You Finish a Hard Conversation and You Are Still Teammates

Imagine the after. You bring up the thing that has been sitting between you, and it does not blow up. You feel heard. Sunday morning feels like Sunday morning again. You stop managing each other and start leading together.

"Couples who pray together stay together" is more than a saying. When you build new patterns of communication, connection, and prayer, your marriage gets a foundation that can carry the highs and the lows.

How It Works

It Starts With One Free Conversation

The first step is a free 30-minute consultation. You share what is going on. We listen, ask questions, and give you an honest read on whether we are the right fit. If it is, we point you toward the work that gets results fastest.

Our Core Program

The 12-Week Marriage Reset

This is where we recommend most couples start. It is our most complete program, and it gets results faster than open-ended sessions because the work is structured and progressive.

Over 12 weeks, you and your spouse work through the core areas that drive most marriage struggles: communication patterns, conflict cycles, emotional safety, intimacy, expectations, and finances. Each session builds on the last, with clear milestones along the way.

By the end, most couples describe it as the most productive three months their marriage has ever had. If you are serious about your marriage, this is where we recommend you begin.

Common Questions

Christian Marriage Counseling in Arizona

What is Christian marriage counseling?

It is professional, structured couples coaching that draws on biblical wisdom and a Christian view of marriage. We help couples understand and put into practice the skills that transform communication and connection. Our approach is practical, evidence-informed, and built on faith for couples who want that.

Is it faith-forward, or can we keep faith lighter?

Both work. We fully integrate a biblical framework for couples who want their faith woven through every session. For couples who want skilled, values-aligned support without heavy religious framing, we meet you there too. We follow your lead.

What is the difference between marriage counseling and couples therapy?

The terms get used interchangeably. Therapy is typically clinical and works on deeper psychological patterns. Our work is skills-based, forward-focused coaching. Sarah-Gayle holds a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, and our sessions take a coaching approach that is practical and faith-compatible.

Do both spouses have to come?

Both partners need to show up. That said, one partner is almost always more hesitant than the other when couples first reach out. That is normal. We meet people right where they are.

How much does it cost, and do you take insurance?

We are transparent about the investment from the very first conversation, and we walk through it all during your free consultation. We do not bill insurance at this time, which lets us keep the work focused, flexible, and built entirely around your marriage rather than a diagnosis code.

Do you offer online sessions across Arizona?

Yes. We meet couples in person in the East Valley and serve couples anywhere in Arizona by Zoom. Evening and weekend appointments are available based on scheduling, and spots fill quickly.

Your Marriage Is Worth More Than Another Year of Hoping It Improves on Its Own

The couples who reach out earliest get the best outcomes. One conversation can shift the trajectory. That is not an overstatement. It is what we see, consistently, with every couple who takes the first step.
