The Four Topics We Teach Together

Each one stands on its own. Your people do not need to have heard the others, and there is no order to follow. Pick the one that fits your couples right now.

Communication and Conflict Resolution

How to have the hard but important conversations without them turning hurtful. We teach the Communication Loop, our four step process, and couples practice it on something real. It is the one most couples come to first.

Marriage Foundation: Biblical Mindsets

What a marriage is built on before anybody hands you a tool. Tools used with the wrong heart become weapons, so this is the ground everything else stands on.

Spiritual Connection in Marriage

Growing together rather than side by side and separate. Practical for couples who want their faith to be something they share instead of something they each do alone.

Sexual Intimacy: God's Design

Honest teaching on a subject most couples have never heard addressed with any candor. How emotional and physical closeness feed each other, and what to do when expectations differ.

Format: each topic runs as a two-hour workshop or as a shorter keynote, and we set the length with you. Couples leave with one tool, not a binder.

Beyond the list

Have a Different Topic in Mind?

The topics above are the ones we teach together most often. Chad is an ordained minister and teaches across a wide range of topics, and we build talks around what your people need. Tell us the theme, the audience, and the time you have.

What It Looks Like in the Room

In our workshops, nobody is asked to talk about their marriage in front of a room of strangers. We teach one idea at a time from the front. Then each couple turns to each other and works through it at their own table, in their own words.

Your business stays yours

No forced sharing, no group confession, no icebreaker where couples announce what they are struggling with. What gets discussed at a table stays at that table.

One tool, taught properly

Couples write theirs down on something real from their own marriage and say it out loud to each other while we are there to help them adjust it. That is the difference between reading about a skill and leaving with one.

Usable the same week

No prep and nothing to read beforehand. Couples walk out with something small and specific they can use the day they get home.

Who You're Booking

Chad and Sarah-Gayle Galbreath, marriage coaches at Hope Relentless

Chad Galbreath

Co-founder, ordained minister

Chad spent about ten years as an executive pastor before he and Sarah-Gayle built Hope Relentless. He sits on the board of his local church and helps lead its marriage ministry. He has been married since 2005 and has coached couples since 2010.

He teaches through story: the one-bedroom apartment and the trash, the 4x400 baton, and the years he spent winning arguments and losing the connection. The shift was not a better comeback. It was realizing the two of them were on the same team.

  • Ordained minister
  • About ten years as an executive pastor
  • UCLA graduate
  • Former Division 1 athlete

Sarah-Gayle Galbreath

Co-founder, marriage coach

Sarah-Gayle holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University, and she works here as a coach rather than a clinician. She has served in ministry for years, including running a youth ministry alongside Chad, and she consults with churches on staff care.

She believes we can change the world through our marriages. Marriages shape families, families shape communities, and communities shape the world. Her love for God and others is her why, and she believes there is always, always hope because of the God she hopes in.

  • District winning speaker, Toastmasters International Speech Contest
  • Staff care consultant for churches
  • Coaching couples since 2010

Hope Relentless is a coaching practice, not a clinical one. We are coaches, not licensed therapists, and we do not provide therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. If someone in your room needs licensed clinical care, we will tell them and help them find it.

What Pastors Say

Four ministry leaders, in their own words.

On Hope Relentless

Pastors Justin & Delicia Hamilton | Legacy Church Az

"As a pastor, I can confidently say that partnering with Hope Relentless has been one of the most valuable investments in the health of our church and families. Through their guidance, we have seen marriages restored and strengthened, and individuals experience lasting healing and growth. They combine exceptional professional competency with genuine compassion, creating a safe and trusted environment for every person they serve. Their character, integrity, and commitment to biblical truth make them a counseling resource we recommend without hesitation. I have also had the privilege of observing their marriage up close on a personal level, and I can honestly say they model what they teach through the way they love, honor, and support one another. They understand the heart of the local church and work as true ministry partners in helping people build Christ-centered relationships, and I wholeheartedly recommend them as a counseling team to strengthen any marriage and family ministry."

On staff care consulting

Pastors Julian and Christina Lowe | OasisLa

"Sarah-Gayle has truly been a God-sent to us. She was brought in to consult at a time when we had just been given the leadership of a 35yr old church. Her focus for us was staff care, including how to help us better serve married couples working together on staff. Sarah-Gayle brings wisdom and does an amazing job of hearing everyone and gathering honest input to determine the course of action. After meeting with Sarah-Gayle, we were able to implement better staff care that has strengthened our unity and dynamic as a church staff family. Sarah-Gayle is trustworthy and wise, and we always knew she had everyone's best interests in mind. We are grateful for the wisdom we gleaned from our time with Sarah-Gayle. Every organization can benefit from her sound advice."

On coaching

Pastors Adam & Juliette Spurling | Archaeo Church

"We could not recommend Hope Relentless more! Sarah-Gayle has been such a gift to us in coming alongside my husband and I as we navigated a season of big decision-making and changes. She helped us prioritize our marriage at every turn and championed us both individually and together. We would highly recommend her to anyone who values their relationship and is seeking to keep it strong and healthy!"

On coaching

Ministry Leaders Jason and Nandi Roszhart | Inquire Ministries

"Sarah-Gayle entered into the tension in our marriage with both grace and truth. Her approach of asking questions and her practical steps of wisdom are what changed things for us early in our marriage. With patience and tenacity, Sarah-Gayle entered into disagreements and family of origin issues by helping us both to identify where we needed to grow. She is STILL all these years later, walking with us in different ways."

What We Bring and What You Provide

We travel for this, and it is some of our favorite work. If you lead a church, a small group ministry, or a marriage ministry, here is how it divides.

What we bring

  • Chad, Sarah-Gayle, or both of us
  • The full session and the workbook material
  • The topic that fits your people
  • A format your couples can use the same week

What you provide

  • A room, with tables seating two per table for workshops
  • Promotion to your people
  • Registration, however you normally handle it
  • A date that works for your calendar and ours

How booking works

1

Tell us about your event

Who is in the room, the date you have in mind, and who you would like to hear from: Chad, Sarah-Gayle, or both of us.

2

We reply with an honest read

Availability, whether we are the right fit, and which topic we would start with.

3

We lock the details

Format, length, room setup, promotion, and a quote based on the format, the length, and the travel.

One request covers all of it. Pick a speaker, or tell us you are not sure and we will recommend one.

When We're Not the Right Fit

A keynote or workshop is a teaching room. It fits when your people are stable enough to learn and practice something new. A few situations call for something else first.

  • There is violence, coercive control, or fear for safety in a marriage in your group. A room is the wrong place to start. The National Domestic Violence Hotline has guidance written for that situation.
  • Someone is in crisis or thinking about self-harm. Call or text 988.
  • You are looking for clinical care, a diagnosis, or treatment. We coach and teach. We will point you to a licensed provider.
  • You want a talk with no faith content. We teach from a Christian view of marriage, so tell us about your audience and we will say plainly whether it fits.

None of that means your event is a bad idea. It means we would rather tell you now than find out in the room.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we book just one of you?

Yes. You can book Chad, Sarah-Gayle, or both of us. Couples events and marriage ministry nights fit best with both of us. Men's events fit Chad. Women's events and staff care fit Sarah-Gayle. If you are not sure, send the request and we will tell you which one we would send.

What topics can we choose from?

Together we teach four: Communication and Conflict Resolution, Marriage Foundation: Biblical Mindsets, Spiritual Connection in Marriage, and Sexual Intimacy: God's Design. Chad also speaks on The Overwhelmed Husband and Come Back Faster. Sarah-Gayle speaks on connection and communication, staff care for churches, and encouragement for women. Chad can also teach on a wide range of other topics, and we build custom talks around what your people need. Tell us about them and we will name the one we would start with.

What is staff care?

A session where Sarah-Gayle listens to your team, gathers honest input from the people who serve, and helps your leaders set a plan for caring for them. That includes how to serve married couples who work together on staff. One pastor who brought her in says it strengthened the unity of the whole staff.

Do you travel?

Yes. We are based in Chandler, Arizona, and we travel to teach for churches, small group ministries, and marriage ministries. Tell us where your event is and we will tell you what it takes.

What do we need to provide?

A room, promotion to your people, and registration however you normally handle it. For workshops, tables that seat two per table so couples sit together instead of facing a stage. We bring the teaching and the workbook material. We also need a date that works for both calendars.

What does it cost?

We quote once we know the format, the length, and the travel. A short conversation about your event gets you a number. If budget is tight, say so up front so we can be honest about what fits.

Does our audience have to be Christian?

We teach from a Christian view of marriage, and two of the four couples topics are explicitly biblical, so we would rather you know that going in. The tools are practical, and plenty of couples who do not share our faith get real value from them. If your audience is mixed, tell us. We will say plainly whether it fits and which topic we would start with.

Will couples be asked to share in front of the room?

No. We teach from the front, then each couple works through it at their own table, in their own words. Nobody is called on and nobody reports back to the room.

Is this therapy?

No. Hope Relentless is a coaching practice. We are coaches, not licensed therapists, and we do not provide therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. A keynote or workshop is teaching and practice, not clinical care. Sarah-Gayle holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University and works here as a coach rather than a clinician, and Chad is an ordained minister. If someone in your room needs licensed clinical care, we will tell them and help them find it.
