Hope Relentless
Marriage Counselor Near Val Vista Towne Center in Gilbert
A calendar that protects the two of you, not just the errands. Time together that is actually together. A way to lean into the hard topics before they pile up. We coach you together, online or at our Chandler office.
30 minutes, free, no obligation. Both of you on the call.
Pickups, groceries, the shared list, the week's schedule. Two people running one household well, and a lot of the talking is about the household.
None of that is wrong. A marriage also needs time that isn't logistics. We teach three things that thriving couples lean on, and each one starts small.
The Three C's: Calendar, Connection, Conflict
Calendar
Protect intentional time for the two of you before the week fills up. If it isn't on the calendar, the errands will take it.
Connection
When you have the time, be fully present. Phones down, eyes up. Ask something that isn't about the schedule and listen to the answer.
Conflict
Lean in with honesty and respect instead of sweeping it under the rug. Peace that's really avoidance builds resentment. Raise it kindly, early, and one topic at a time.
Pick one for this week
Choose the C that feels thinnest right now and take one baby step. Fifteen minutes on the calendar beats a plan for a perfect weekend.
Each of the three has discussion questions we walk through with you. It's a guide, not a law, and it works best when each of you starts with your own side.

What This Looks Like With Us
Built around your real week
We coach couples online or at our Chandler office, and we help you set up habits that fit the schedule you actually have.
Both of you, every time
We don't offer individual sessions. Each of you owns your own side, and both of you grow at the same time. Nobody is the project.
Coached by someone who's been there
You'll work with Sarah-Gayle or me, matched on your consultation. Sarah-Gayle holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific, and works here as a coach, not a clinician. I'm an ordained minister. We've been married more than twenty years and have coached thousands of couples.
Questions Couples Ask
Our calendar is full and our marriage still feels quiet. Why?
A full calendar and a connected marriage are different things. Most of the week is logistics, and logistics don't fill the account. We help you carve out small, protected pockets of time that are actually about the two of you.
How do we protect time when both our schedules are packed?
Start smaller than feels worthwhile. A fifteen-minute check-in on the calendar, kept, builds more trust than a big date that gets canceled. In coaching we help you pick a rhythm you can hold and make agreements about the details.
What does leaning into conflict mean? Isn't peace better?
Peace is better, and avoiding a topic isn't peace. Healthy couples argue. What matters is how you raise it and how quickly you come back together. We teach you to bring things up gently, one topic at a time, and to repair fast.
