Mindset
How you show up internally. God is your source, you take personal responsibility, and you're on the same team. Everything else is built on this one.
Tools
Practical skills you can use at the kitchen table, like the Communication Loop. Tools only work when the mindset under them is right.
Community
The people around your marriage. A church family, a small group, friends who are a few steps down the road. This is the one you may already have.
Coach
Someone further down the road who sees your patterns and helps you practice. This is the fourth leg, and it's the one most couples are missing.
Most couples have one or two of the four. That's normal. It's a guide, not a law, and the goal is to see what's missing, not to grade yourselves.

Sarah-Gayle holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific, and works here as a coach, not a clinician. I'm an ordained minister. We've been married more than twenty years and have coached thousands of couples.

Is Hope Relentless part of Central Christian Church?
No. We're an independent coaching practice and we're not affiliated with Central Christian Church or any congregation. We coach Christian couples, and which church you attend doesn't matter to us. We encourage you to stay planted in yours.
Our pastor already counsels couples. Why add a coach?
They do different jobs, and you can use both. Pastoral care is community, and that's one of the four things. We're the coach leg: tools, practice and accountability for the two of you together. If you need licensed clinical care, we'll tell you and help you find it.
Which of the four things matter most?
Mindset, because the other three rest on it. After that it depends on your marriage. Couples who have community but no tools usually feel it in hard conversations. Couples with tools and no coach tend to stall when it gets uncomfortable. We figure out which on the consultation.
