Hope Relentless
Marriage Counselor Near Kiwanis Park in Tempe
A marriage that stays first when the schedule is full. Ten minutes a day that belong to the two of you. A way to say what you need without it turning into a fight over the calendar. We coach you together at our Chandler office, about fifteen minutes from Kiwanis Park, or online.
30 minutes, free, no obligation. Both of you on the call.
Kiwanis Park has a lake, a splash playground, ballfields and plenty of ramadas, and on a weekend it fills with families. It is a good picture of a full season of life: busy, loud and good.
In a season like that, a marriage can end up running on whatever energy is left at the end of the day. So we start with a mindset: I prioritize my marriage. That does not mean ignoring the kids, the in-laws or the job. It means none of them gets to sit in the middle of the two of you. A prioritized marriage is a nurtured one, and it is a decision before it is a feeling.
I Prioritize My Marriage: Three Daily Habits
Small and daily beats big and rare.
Ten minutes of connection
Every day, phones down, no logistics. Ask about the day. Ask about the heart. Ten minutes is the whole assignment.
Appreciation out loud
One specific thing, said to your spouse, every day. "Thanks for handling bedtime" counts.
Keep the middle clear
Name what tends to wedge between you: the kids' schedule, someone's opinions, a job that follows you home. Pick one and agree on a boundary around it, together.
Baby steps toward your spouse add up. You do not need a grand gesture. You need tomorrow's ten minutes.

What This Looks Like With Us
Built around your real week
Sessions happen at our Chandler office or online. We help you protect ten minutes a day in the schedule you actually have.
Both of you, every time
We don't offer individual sessions. Each of you owns your own side, and both of you grow at the same time. Nobody is the project.
Coached by someone who's been there
You'll work with Sarah-Gayle or me, matched on your consultation. Sarah-Gayle holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific, and works here as a coach, not a clinician. I'm an ordained minister. We've been married more than twenty years and have coached thousands of couples.
Quick Questions
How far is your office from Kiwanis Park?
About 15 minutes by car, based on a weekday afternoon in Google Maps. Our office is at 3075 W Ray Rd #200 in Chandler. We also meet online.
Isn't putting the marriage first unfair to the kids?
We see it the other way. Kids live inside the marriage, and they learn teamwork by watching it. Putting your marriage first does not mean giving the kids less of you. It means they get a steadier home.
