Power Ranch Community Information

The Power Ranch community located in Gilbert Az, the south east valley of Maricopa County Arizona.  The land that the Power Ranch community sits on was once the homestead of James Oliver Power and and his wife Sarah Bullock.  The two were married and used the land for various purposes over the years.  In the early years, the land was used to produce cotton, but after the great depression the land took on numerous uses  from farming to cattle grazing. At various times the Power Ranch was known for cotton and its herd of over 600 cattle. The focus of the family was hard work and loving one another. Over the years the family homestead employed hundred plus members of the local community.
